Sexual intercourse, drugs, dance music, events, girls and Zac Efron are the recipe for We are Your Friends, a late-summer package office entry from Warner Bros that might find a difficult experience gaining traction (especially having a terrible title that is difficult to remember) but is a likable-enough diversion before fall and much more serious movies start bombarding us. As I say inside my video review (click the hyperlink above), this film, because of Efron’s sincere performance as well as adeptness at convincing all of us he is a talented EDM DJ, could hit the prospective college-age audiences - young ladies particularly, at which this is obviously aimed.
