The Tonight Show will have Michael McDonald and The Doobie Brothers

Yesterday evening The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon featured the reunion of musical visitors The Doobie Brothers and former associate Michael McDonald. The two acts shared the actual stage during the program’s taping and stayed in the game for to play a second, web-exclusive song.

The Doobie Brothers will reunite with their former singer/keyboardist Michael McDonald this evening for a special performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The episode, which also will feature MSNBC host Rachel Maddow and comedian Artie Lange

THE DOOBIE BROTHERS are a four-time Grammy Award-winning band who have sold more than forty million albums. Beginning with the 1972 sophomore album Toulouse Street, The Doobie Siblings have scored three multi-platinum, seven platinum eagle and 14 gold albums. Their latest, 2014's Southbound, saw the return associated with longtime member MICHAEL MCDONALD and noticeable the band's transition to country songs.
