Jon Bon Jovi Rescheduled at new venue for Vancouver show

Rocker JON BON JOVI has found a new location for his upcoming Vancouver, Canada live concert, days after the show was initially axed because of permit and production issues.

The Bon Jovi frontman and his Kings of Suburbia band were scheduled to play a near-sold out show on Saturday (22Aug15) at Stanley Park, but on Monday (17Aug15), It was announced that the gig was canceled, right after local promoters at Paper Rain Shows were unable to "guarantee a properly-produced occasion. ".
But on Thursday (20Aug15), followers received good news that the show will go upon, after Bon Jovi secured a deal along with officials at nearby Rogers Arena. A press release from Paul Korzilius of Bon Jovi Management reads: "Ever since we were pushed to announce the cancellation of Stanley Park, Paper Rain Performances has perpetuated confusion and misinformation. Through it all, it is often Jon’s main concern that he find a way to make great on the promoter’s failed attempt to put on the actual show. Finally, the stage is set and that we can confidently announce that all proper items are in place for a great show. "

Vancouver is a special city for Jon, that has recorded three albums and given numerous performances here. The task of relocating could hardly have been possible without Rogers Arena’s assistance... As we said on Monday, Jon is definitely willing, able and excited to perform a prior weekend not too long ago - now it’s real. " Korzilius also tells Billboard that Paper Rainfall Performances did not pull through with their finish of the bargain, saying, "They didn’t possess the permit and they didn’t have the stage, that are two key elements. Paper Rain Shows has since removed its website and amid reports associated with insolvency, and Korzilius reveals he great associates are seeking legal action.
