Kanye West Will Replaces Frank Ocean at FYF Music Festival

FYF Fest is an annual two-day music event held at the Los Angeles Sports Arena and Exposition Park in Los Angeles, California. It had been founded by Sean Carlson in 2004 and it is produced by Goldenvoice, a subsidiary of AEG live. The event showcases many genres associated with music, including rock, indie, electronic, and much more. (according to Wiki. )

Frank Ocean was set to perform on the opening night of the festival Saturday. The headlining slot was expected to be a first look at material from his much anticipated followup to 2012's Grammy winning channel ORANGE

Frank Ocean played at the 2014 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.

But The singer canceled his headlining appearance in his weekend’s FYF music festival within Los Angeles, festival organizers announced. But they have found a pretty strong replacement.

"With a lineup that already includes Morrissey, D’Angelo and the Vanguard, FKA Twigs, Chet Faker, Flume, Belle & Sebastian and more, FYF Fest is excited to have Kanye West play this weekend in his newly adopted home of Los Angeles." The announcement releaved from festival Organizers.

Rumors of Ocean’s long-awaited followup album to his sensational debut, Channel Orange, bubbled up in April with a vague Tumblr post. It also announced a magazine released by Ocean called Boys Don’t Cry that was announced releasing in July 2015 #JULY2015 release. But none the album nor the publication had been released last month.

Similarly, West’s album right after Yeezus is expected sometime this year, however there is no sight for the dating. This is West’s third festival turn in L. A. in under a calendar year, playing, at Wango String in May and last year’s Produced in America Festival.
