Tokyo Street Style: Turtlenecks and Creepers

To tide us over during the street-style lull between the end of Fashion Week and the start of couture shows, the Cut sent Youngjun Koo to scout Japanese style on the streets of Tokyo. There, he captured locals' eccentric, sporty style, including leg coverings that range from leather pants with elastic waistbands to skirts with built-in belts to JNCOs. Many sported turtlenecks, creepers, bleached hair, and branded pieces from Alexander Wang’s H&M collaboration, while others opted for athletic track jackets, fur-lined hoods, and the occasional Moschino belt.
