The Loveliest Ladies of the Weekend

Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain couldn’t have been more stunning! The gorgeous set stepped out for the premiere of their film Interstellar (which co-stars Matthew McConaughey) at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Calif., last night looking every bit such as glamorous Hollywood royalty.

Hathaway showed off her tousled bob and décolletage in a sexy Richard Nicoll slip dress that she complemented with a hanging backwards necklace (similar to the one she wore at the 2013 Oscars) together with a James Banks Design hand-chain bracelet created by someone very special to the actress-her husband Adam Shulman. “My husband designed my bracelet, ” Hathway informs InStyle of the intricate accessory. “I love it. ”

Also opting for a dark hue at the event, Chastain surprised in a black Givenchy Couture gown that featured a plunging back and pure lace side panels that she paired with bold emerald green Fred Leighton earrings. “I love that my friend Riccardo Tisci designed my dress with regard to Givenchy. I like the little peekaboo, and I think that it’s perfect for the Chinese Theatre, ” Chastain says. “This is the biggest premiere I have ever been to for just one of my films, and this suits the occasion. ”

Hathaway and Chastain were delighted to be in each other’s presence on the red carpet, but the duet was even more excited about the release of the movie, which tells the emotional tale of a team of explorers who undertake a mission beyond this universe to save Earth and humankind. “The movie is thrilling-you sometimes can’t inhale its so exciting, ” Chastain says. “You can expect incredible visuals, technology, and action, but at the core it’s a story about the powerful bonds of love as well as family. You might even shed a couple of tears! ” Hathaway added to that belief: “This is an unbelievable, exceptional film and it deserves to bee seen in cinemas. ”
