Lena Dunham Publicly Apologizes For Sexual Abuse Controversy





Impegno has apologized after going on a self-proclaimed ‘spiral of rage’ in response to allegations which she molested her younger sister. The accusations came after excerpts through her book, ‘Not That Kind Of Girl, ’ revealed she was interested in her younger sibling’s vagina.

Lena Dunham, 28, has received plenty of praise more than her recent memoir, Not That Kind Of Girl, but she also obtained some backlash. In her book, the Girls actress described events in which the girl touched her sister’s genitalia and bribed her for kisses. Lena published these experiences off as being a “weird 7-year-old”, but the public had quite a various opinion.

Lena was both upset and disgusted about the allegations, claiming she molested her younger sister, Grace, as a child. After a series of angry tweets, Lena lastly released an apologetic statement to Time:

“I am dismayed over the current interpretation of events described in my book Not That Kind of Girl. First of all, I want to be very clear that I do not condone any kind of abuse under any circumstances. Childhood intimate abuse is a life-shattering event for so many, and I have been vocal about the legal rights of survivors. If the situations described in my book have been painful or causing for people to read, I am sorry, as that was never my intention. I am also which the comic use of the term ‘sexual predator’ was insensitive, and I’m remorseful for that as well. As for my sibling, Grace, she is my best friend, and anything We have written about her has been published with her approval. ”

In case you missed it, in Lena’s brand new memoir, Not That Kind of Girl, she candidly wrote about bribing Elegance with candy in exchange for kisses.

“Basically, anything a sexual predator may do to woo a small suburban girl I was trying, ” Lena wrote.

The girl also shared that at age 7, she examined her sister’s vagina from curiosity, and she even spoke about masturbating at 17-years-old while the girl sister was in bed with her.

Lena initially defended her statement and the girl actions by saying: “If you were a little kid and never looked at another small kid’s vagina, well, congrats to you. ”

However , the public, including many right-winged blogs, did not take her story so lightly, and claim that her conduct towards her sister was sexual abuse.

We’re sure that Lena meant nicely, but this entire situation might be a little too controversial for our taste. So we are definately let you guys decide.
