It is been a monumental year for Kendall Jenner. The star is creating a huge impact in the fashion community (and even changed her name that must be taken more seriously) and continues to impress on the red carpet. So in honor of the girl 19th birthday, we’re recapping her top five life moments from the past twelve months.
1 . Her Fashion Week Debut: Pure top. Bleached eyebrows. Wig. Kendall totally transformed her look - as well as marked her entry in the high-fashion modeling world - on the Marc Jacobs runway during the designer’s fall 2014 fashion show in February.
2 . The actual Karl Lagerfeld Endorsement: First comes New York, then comes Paris. Shortly after her Marc Jacobs debut, Jenner moved on to an even bigger life moment: hitting the Chanel catwalk. “It’s not everyday you get to shop around a Chanel supermarket. OR WALK STRAIGHT DOWN THEIR RUNWAY #LivingMyDream @chanelofficial” the star captioned the above photo back in Mar.
3. Vogue Comes Calling: Kendall became close with Anna Wintour throughout the Europe Fashion Week circuit and was featured in an online and social unique for the magazine, where she modeled some of the most memorable fall 2014 runway appears. Then this summer, her big break came: She landed in June/July problem of Vogue Paris in a shoot by famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier. (And yes, those bleached eyebrows were back. )
4. The Book Offer: Kendall can add “author” to her résumé. She and sister Kylie co-wrote their own first sci-fi novel together, Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex as well as Livia - and promoted it very stylishly, we might add.
5. Nabbing a Supermodel Best Friend: If you follow Kendall on Instagram, you already know that with regard to Halloween, she was the Mario to Cara Delevingne’s Luigi. With all that time invested backstage at top fashion shows together, it’s no surprise the models have grown to be very close friends. And Kendall has been very open about how she feels about supermodels - now her peers: “To honest, this is exactly what I wanted to be, ” the girl told Interview magazine of her modeling career. “I was always finding out about to supermodels. They were, like, my superheroes. ”
