Donald Robertson and Brian Atwood Collaborate For a Cause

Should you be on Instagram, you’ve come across Donald Robertson, better known as @donaldrawberston, an performer who showcases his whimsical fashion gaffer-tape illustrations and details his everyday life as a father to an impressive 102, 000 plus followers.

The elite from the fashion community were quick to embrace him, and he was part of the very first group to receive a nomination for the CFDA’s Fashion Instagrammer of the Year Honor earlier this year.

This is how shoe designer, Brian Atwood first met Robertson. Right now, to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis, the two have partnered with Gavel&Grand, a site that holds charity auctions of luxury products and experiences.

Shoppers-slash-do-gooders may bid on 10 different original illustrations by Robertson of various Brian Atwood footwear and clutches from his fall collection. Atwood is offering five shoe designs adorned with a Donald Robertson lip print, ranging from chunky platforms to pointed-toe kitten heels, only available through this auction. One lucky bidder will receive the custom portrait, which will be shared on Robertson’s Instagram and tagged with his or even her handle.

In addition to each of these covetable items comes a limited-edition book associated with Robertson’s Brian Atwood inspired illustrations. The auction ends November 14th, providing us hopefuls just enough time to cast our bids. The books will be provided by the 511 Gallery but there are only 200 of them and we guarantee a person won’t be the first to “like, ” so act fast.

Check out the video of Robertson and Atwood talking about how they came together and what this collaboration means.
