Winners Simon and Shannon partied until 7am after winning half a million dollars and shockly revealed they 'won't be sharing cash'

Usually it's the last couple to place their apartment up for auction on Channel Nine's popular TV show The Block that make the most money.
However it was tradesmen siblings Simon and Shannon who threw a spanner in the works on Sunday evening of finale of the reality show, walking away with half a million dollars after being second in-line to put their unit on the market.
Devastatingly, fan favourites Michael and Carlene as well as Dee and Darren walked away from The Block Glasshouse with a measly $10,000 cash after close to five months of hard work.

Cheers! The siblings from Coffs Harbour won the competition, raking in almost half a million dollars

Shannon, the older brother of the Coffs Harbour duo, relayed how the evening of their big succeed went down on KIIS FM's Kyle & Jackie O Show on Mon morning after celebrating their joint achievement the night before.
'Last year, everyone wished to go last, but our real estate agent said go second. We were so anxious and nervous! ' Shannon exclaimed.
Compassionate Jackie was quick to say which she cried watching the finale, feeling sorry for the contestants who remaining with very little cash.
Shannon agreed with Jackie adding 'Oh there were holes all around -Michael and Carlene - I wanted them to do so well, I really do. They only go 10k'
Michael and Carlene, and hot-headed Dee as well as Darren, made only $10, 000.
Maxine and Karstan came in third creating just $40, 000 and Chris and Jenna walked away with $310, 000.
Wanting a little more insight into how much the contestants would have made within the popular TV show, Jackie asked how much the contestants get paid each week.
Shannon responding to bluntly 'uh... $700 bucks each... but that's gotta cover rent as well as car payments and what not. '

Realising how little the contestants obtained paid to be on the TV show and the reality that some only walked aside with only $10,000, Jackie empathised: 'How gutting! Were you sensation a bit awkward walking away when you cleaned up and the others hadnt? '
Shannon quipped 'Yeh hashtag awks! You know, you want to scream and shout and state we won half a million dollars, but at the same time you didn't want to look like d**ks and we were celebrating inside. '
Jackie asked: 'Did you feel under pressure at all to provide money to the other contestants. '
Shannon was matter of fact with his reply: 'No, it might be a nice gesture, but it's a competition, so we're going to take that money as well as run! '

Simon, Executive Producer of the famous radio show came on the airwaves remarking: 'I'm a big fan of Simon and Shannon but I believe it's really poor form that these two haven't given any money to the other contestants.
'You cant stand there crying on national television and not give them a cent. '
Coming to the pairs defense Kyle exclaimed 'Did you see Thorpe get straight down with his gold medal when he won in swimming and go "Sorry partner you came last, here, you have the medal, I won so I avoid deserve it? "'
Shannon, feeling as if he had to reveal that the brothers are actually doing something generous with their winnings added: 'we're going to take our contractor (from the TV show) on a surf trip'.
Towards the end of the radio job interview, a loud screech erupted from Shannon's phone with Simon returning house at 7am after a long night of celebrating holding a bottle of bubbly in his hands.
Wanting to speak with Shannon's intoxicated younger brother and joint champion of The Block Glasshouse Kyle shouted 'you're the winner' in which Simon's the majority of composed response was 'winner winner chicken dinner! '
Shannon revealed a few minutes later that Simon had passed out on the lounge.
The brothers is going to be spending the next few weeks finishing up publicity for the TV show and revealed that there are a few various interior design projects in the pipeline that are yet to be revealed.
Losing Blockheads Deanne Jolly and Maxine Stokes ended auction day on The Block: Glasshouse with a sour behind-the-scenes breakdown that saw Dee threatening to steal artworks and 'raid' the actual winning apartments with equally furious Max.
Winning just $10, 000 within prize money, Melbourne contestant Deanne told the shocked cast: 'I'm likely to take the f*****g Bromley's [artworks]. It's a bad tale all round' whilst Max backed her, saying: 'all of us are coming back here and we are likely to raid it. '
Speaking on the show, Deanne said without prize cash to reward their efforts, it 'would be stupid to do The Prevent under these conditions and in this time frame'.
The outburst and the clear bitter taste left by the sale's results even saw the planned drinks celebration afterwards for the show's contestants and crew in the atrium cancelled as everybody went their separate ways.
Watching the auctions unfold on a live give food to from inside the Block pop-up shop in Melbourne, Maxine's disappointing prize of simply $40, 000 - for five months of full-time hard work with brand new husband Karstan- saw her burst into tears before snapping at suppliers, 'Me crying will probably get you all another Gold Logie'.
The 24 year-old former beauty queen struggled to contain her emotions as she had been comforted by Sydney native and Blockhead Jenna Susetio, who won $310, 000 for her and husband Chris's apartment.
The sale of Deanne's apartment with regard to $1. 38m - just $10, 000 above the reserve of $1. 37m- saw the renovator walk back into the holding room in tears, following the mum-of-two had reportedly snubbed the auctioneer.

The auctioneer said the low cost was because buyer Yue Pan, 20, had purchased Max and Karstan's unit for $1, 710, 000 just minutes before- leaving Dee and Darren without an interested party.
But third-place winner Max, looking furious, wasn't happy with the results, boldly stating, 'This is not a happy ending. '
'I want a three-course meal - and I'm putting it on The Block's bill. '
Attempting to cut the tension presenter Shelley Craft told the devastated couples in the room, stating 'we want tonight to be a celebration of five months of hard work.
'Hasn't anybody got an announcement like a new contract or pregnancy? '
But the girl attempt at lightening the mood wasn't appreciated as the couples shook their minds, looking appalled.

A tearful Shelley then added: 'I'm speechless - which doesn't happen very often. '
'God knows what happened tonight, ' The actual Block: Glasshouse presenter later told Daily Mail Australia, adding that the participants were 'broken' by the shock results.
'Particularly Dee and Darren who remaining their kids at home for a long period of time, ' she said.
'The money which is potentially on offer is life changing and when you're going to sleep at 3am every night convinced that it's all going to be worth it in the end, it's an emotional night. '
The girl continued, mentioning that the grand finale has impacted her, the crew as well as co-host Scott Cam.
'Scotty and I and the whole production crew never need it to end like this.
'The show makes its money back, and that's fabulous, but all of us want the contestants to make life changing amounts of money, that's the point. '
