The Block: judge Shaynna Blaze Weighing in 'they were all worthy of a good result'

The actual dismal results that came from Sunday night's finale from the Block: Glasshouse saw some teams walk away with just $10, 000 after almost five months of effort on the reality TV show.
While winners, siblings Shannon as well as Simon Voss, walked away with close to half a million dollars within cash after their $435, 000 win, while some other Blockheads were left with far less.
Speaking to Daily Email Australia on Monday, judge Shaynna Blaze said the girl was 'shocked' by the finale, saying 'They were almost all worthy of a good result, but in reality that doesn't mean a location will sell'.

High hopes: The mood in the contestant's holding room fluctuated according to the bids on the auction floor
'In the real world, if the market is down, the actual buyers dictate the price... and who wins, ' the girl said.
'It's a competition at the end of the day, the couples were most likely expecting a better result due to the last two seasons, where the majority of contestants did very well. '
The shock final numbers weren't the only scandal of the season, with Melbourne mother-of-two Deanne Jolly, who competed with husband Darren, in one point dubbing Shaynna 'a bogan from Wantirna who’s got no f*****g idea, and I will away style you any day. '

Shaynna and the boys: Shannon and Simon took on board most of Shaynna's advice before the final auction

Weeks on from the event, which both women say they have since resolved, Shaynna revealed that the two had only met twice throughout filming, as the renovations and judging are shot separately.
Carefully addressing their current relationship, Shaynna said, 'The humorous thing is we have no relationship! I’ve only met the lady twice in my life.
'After what she said about me personally she rang and apologised, so that’s that. '
Although Dee would be forgiven for being bitter about the last take-home prize for her and Darren on The Block, Shaynna states she feels sorry for the painter and plumber brothers and sisters - despite their win.

Bittersweet: Shaynna says the winning pair  'can't celebrate to the fullest because of the other contestants'
Falling short: Deanne Jolly and husband Darren were awarded just $10,000 at the auction of their apartment

'I do feel sorry for your boys, ' she said, 'they cant celebrate towards the fullest because of the other contestants' sad situation. '
'They shouldn't feel obliged to share their cash with the other people 'as what they do with their money is up to them, ' the girl added. 'I don’t think it’s fair to ask these to share it, no other contestants have had to do that in the past.
'In previous seasons of the show people have won $400, 000 or more and they haven’t had to share it around along with those who didn't make as much. ’
Shaynna, who additionally stars on Selling Houses Australia and will front the actual Grand Designs live shows when they kick off in Melbourne in may, wasn't present on auction day for the nail-biting complete.

She says she and fellow judges Darren Palmer as well as Neale Whitaker don't usually attend as 'it's not really fair for us to lurk about and put even more stress on the teams.
'We don't want the couples to consider that we are judging as well as the buyers, ' she describes.
'Unfortunately not enough people came to the auctions and had been fighting for the apartments and if they missed out on the actual the reserve they wanted. '
Shaynna will go back to our screens on The Block 2015 which will be set in South Yarra, Melbourne.
Her next project sees her join Kevin McCloud, Peter Maddison and other stars for Grand Styles Home Show exhibition Grand Theatre.
