Neil Patrick Harris has just landed another dream gig-the actor is getting his own variety show! Modeled after the British TV hit Ant and Dec’s Weekend Night Takeaway, the New York-based series will be filmed before a live target audience and include musical numbers, comedy sketches, mini game shows, hidden camera comedies on celebrities, and appearances by A-list stars.

“As I watched the display, I couldn’t stop smiling. Now that I’ve seen many seasons, my encounter hurts. It’s a game changer, ” Harris says in a statement. “Nothing such as this has been done before, and I can’t wait to roll up my sleeves and have awesome! ”
The versatile star has had quite a month-he was recently confirmed since the 2015 Oscars host, and his film Gone Girl has been wildly popular in the box office. Be sure to look for the 10-episode series when it makes its presentación on NBC sometime next year.
