Megan Gale, 38, followed in the footsteps of Demi Moore braving the front cover associated with Marie Claire earlier this year with her nude baby bump on full display.
The cover was an achievement in itself, with Megan's famous curves remembering the female form.
The icing on the cake was served up today once the model's standout image was awarded Magazine Cover Of The Year in the Style, Health & Beauty Division at the annual Australian Maggie's Magazine Cover Honours.

With her hair effortlessly combed into a high ponytail and dangling earrings dangling from her ears - Megan Gale didn't need any other embellishments, and even designer clothes, to grab readers attention when she posed naked on the Might edition of Marie Claire.
The Maggies poll the Australian public each year, asking magazine readers to vote on their favourite most captivating cover on the official website.
Speaking passionately about Marie Clarie's award winning cover this year, editor-in-chief and publisher Jackie Frank has said 'Our May cover captured an intimate second in the life of one of our most-loved personalities - Megan Gale. '
'In a modern update of the iconic Demi Moore/Vanity Fair cover, Megan was took pictures of completely naked at 7-months pregnant. '
Posing side on for the digital camera, Megan's stunning shot almost mirrors Moore's famous 1991 Vanity Fair include.

Quickly taking to Twitter and Instagram, the beautiful brunette model wrote ' So happy to hear that my cover won Fashion Magazine Cover from the Year at the 2014 Maggie Awards'
'Being 7 months pregnant and pictures it was a very confronting shoot for me to do but I was so happy ultimately that I did it, regardless of it winning an award. Such lovely images to become cherished always of my beautiful bub in my tummy. '
Megan as well as her Richmond Football Club player partner, Shaun Hampson, announced the happy information of their son's birth on the 13th of May, the same month the famous include went to press.

Before Megan's nude cover went to press, Megan spoke candidly in an interview with publisher of the magazine, Jackie Frank.
The David Jones ambassador was quoted showing Jackie that she felt both 'liberated' and 'terrified' at the same time about the take.
'I think any woman would know that when you’re in your mid-20s, things are harder and perkier and just all round better, ' she said. 'This is quite challenging for me to do at 38. '
Urged by her mother to do the actual shoot, Megan said she liked the idea of posing nude to celebrate the being pregnant form, but was also wary of causing controversy.
'Part of it was which i like the whole concept of celebrating the pregnant form and that iconic shape which so many women have experienced, ' she said.
'The only reason I did not want to do it was perhaps being overly concerned about things that are out of my manage and that it may offend people. I don’t want to do anything that’s going to put people’s noses out of joint or create some kind of scandal. '

Proud editor Cassie Frank wrapped up why she believed the cover deserved to succeed the award saying 'As one of the highest selling issues of the year, it will be caught the attention of the Australian public' she went on to say.
WHO magazine required out the Overall Magazine Cover Winner award at The Maggies as well as category champion in the Weekly division.
The cover shows X Factor Stars Ronan Keating, Dannii Minogue, Nat Bassingthwaighte and Redfoo in bed together.
The award winning cover strike shelves on the 25th of November in 2013.

Aussie Women's Weekly took out the title of best cover in the Lifestyle department.
The cover of the large weekly glossy that helped win the reward was a spectacular regal photograph of Princess Mary of Denmark that was imprinted in October 2013.
Wearing a chic asymmetrical dress of organza and chiffon, the brunette princess who grew in Tasmania won the hearts associated with Australian women with her stylish cover.

The cover that was dubbed best through the public from the Newspaper Inserted Magazines division was The Sunday Telegraph's Sunday Design Pullout featuring Ita Buttrose.
The highly respected Australian business women, reporter, TV presenter and author looked steely and strong wearing a high-collared dress.
The pullout was published on October 27, 2013.
