Italian Label Henry Cotton's Making China Push

HEADING EAST: Italian label Henry Cotton’s is entering the actual Chinese market. The casualwear, high-end brand is portion of Industries Sportswear Co. SpA, the sportswear company used by Moncler SpA and now under the control of Emerisque Brand names UK Ltd.

The Chinese branch of Henry Cotton’s, known as Henry Cotton’s Greater China Company Limited, sold the 50 percent share to Chinese retailer China Outfitters Keeping Limited, which will boost the penetration of the Italian fashion company in the Chinese market starting with the fall 2015 time of year.

“We see enormous potential for Henry Cotton’s in Higher China, ” said Henry Cotton’s general manager Enrico Acciai. “We will be proud to launch the brand along with China Outfitters, a proven, professional and leading player with the most dynamic and fast-growing markets for casual sportswear in the world. They share a passion for our brand. ”


Tiongkok Outfitters and Henry Cotton’s, which is already sold in regarding 100 monobrand stores across Japan and Korea, plan to open a lot more than 200 flagships in Greater China by 2020.

Tiongkok Outfitters, which operates about 1, 300 retail factors in China, distributes a number of international brands, including Barbour, Jeep and Emerisque’s MCS, among others.
