Allow Taylor Swift to Welcome You to New York with Her Newest Gig

Taylor Swift now has a job to go along with her hit new single, “Welcome to Ny. ” The singer, who fell in love with N. Y. C. after relocating here earlier this year, has just been named the city’s welcome ambassador with regard to tourism. InStyle’s November cover girl made the announcement Monday on Hello America, where she was promoting the release of her latest album, 1989, which dropped today. The singer said being named the welcome military attache, “was the craziest, coolest thing. ”

“New York was a huge landscape for what became this album. As well as it’s affected my life in ways I am not even aware of yet fully. ” The actual singer added that NYC & Company (the Big Apple’s official advertising organization) must have picked up on her enthusiasm for the city when they gave her it.

“What makes New York City New York City is that it is unlike anywhere else in the world.
