The black-and-white images in “Some Other Way” offer up a stark survey of the house’s signs of aging and neglect: peeling wallpaper, fraying couch cushions, uneven frames, an unkempt lawn. Eerie and hauntingly beautiful, they are the artist’s homage to her grandparents’ love, and a thanks to them for providing her with a home.
“Some Other Way” is available in a book at lorenparisella.com.
