According to Blindspot wiki: Blindspot is an American drama series starring Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton. The series was ordered by NBC on May 1, 2015 and premiered upon September 21, 2015. The actual series focuses on a mysterious tattooed lady who has lost her memory and does not understand her own identity. The FBI discovers that every tattoo contains a clue to a crime they are going to have to solve.
Blind spot gets right to the idea in the first couple of minutes - introducing all of us to our mysterious, tattoo-covered Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) emerging from a duffel bag in the Times Square. She has no idea who she is or even how she ended up naked inside of a bit of luggage. She may not remember her title, or anything else about herself, but all of us learn that she’s still in there someplace. Her likes, dislikes, abilities, and information are still present and predetermined; she simply has to uncover them. Kind of like when the girl decides tea tastes like blades associated with grass or starts randomly speaking China's (specifically Wenzhouhua).
Jane makes her very first human connection with FBI Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton), whose name is tattooed on her back for unknown reasons. The tattoos addressing her body are clues - challenge pieces laid out for the FBI and Her to put together. Under one of her tattoos, the actual FBI is able to see that she had the Navy Seal tattoo. Whoever tattooed Jane’s body apparently wanted to hide this, as well as it’s the only clue we have to her earlier life.
After the discovery of a date as well as address for an apartment tattooed in China's behind Jane’s ear, Weller and a couple of his team members decide to check it out. This is where Jane experiences her very first flashback; she sees herself doing focus on practice in the woods with a mystery guy who appears to be training her.
So , despite the excitement of Weller and his team effectively saving the day from a terrorist attack, Her still has to spend the night alone in the girl new “home” (read: safe house) to cope with her emotions. Even though we’re not realizing any sparks flying between Jane as well as Weller yet, these two both seem to desire human affection and have great onscreen biochemistry. Whether their relationship will remain platonic since the show progresses seems doubtful - this can be a network procedural after all.
Back at the FBI headquarters, there’s something fishy going on. Weller’s boss, Bethany Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) is observed examining a picture of one of Jane’s tattoo designs - a number that matches a case document number sitting in front of her on a table. The actual file has Mayfair’s name on it, even though most of the words are blacked out simply because it’s top secret, we do see terms like “murder” and “embezzlement” scribed within the page. What exactly is Mayfair trying to hide? Is actually she protecting herself, or someone else?
The actual mystery man from Jane’s flashback minds to the hospital, where Chao is still throwing, and kills him. At the end of the show, we get another random flashback of the secret man erasing Jane’s memory, and understand that it was in fact done with her permission.
