2 words: Absolutely breathtaking! Now that that’s been established, we can collectively pick up our own jaws off the floor and continue to gush over Elizabeth Banks‘s amazing red carpeting look some more.
At the world premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part one, Banks took a leaf out of her on-screen persona Effie’s book as well as stirred up some commotion with a statement-making masterpiece. The star selected the sweeping silk chiffon pearl-studded floral-print red-to-blue gradient Elie Saab Haute Disposition creation that draped down her back into a ground-grazing train. Except for Suzanne Kalan studs and two diamond Casa Reale rings, she scaled back again on all other accessories to avoid unnecessary distraction. The effect is insanely incredible. As well as did we mention, it’s stunning?

But Banks wasn’t the only one within the spotlight. After a stylish start at the London photocall in smart white sets apart, Jennifer Lawrence stepped out in a pale blue diamond-shaped quilted Dior gown with a high-low hemline and free-falling florals strewn across the bodice. A dark headband, black diamond Norman Silverman studs, a diamond Casa Reale engagement ring, and black T-strap sandals rounded out her look.
