You had better work, Brit! As if meeting Britney Spears at an event for her lingerie collection in Germany wasn’t exciting enough, the star went the extra mile to shock her fans by debuting a new bobbed haircut, which hit just below the girl chin.
We haven’t seen the singer in a hairstyle quite like this prior to, and the uniform length is certainly flattering paired with a sleek, side-parted blowout. Britney has been keeping her hairstylist busy lately; The star went for a heavy brunette in February of last year, then dabbled in red hair place before returning to her trademark platinum.
Her current look marks the quickest she’s gone since the late ’90s, when she sported a collarbone-length design for a few months. Of course , we had to dig up her 1999 MTV Europe Songs Awards performance of “Baby One More Time” just to make sure we were right. Just by the many looks we’ve seen her rock in her music videos (here’s your own excuse to queue up “Toxic“), we’re convinced that there isn’t a hair do she can’t pull off.
