A collection of Bridesmaids Dresses! The First Post-Baby Project designed by Eva Mendes

Eva Mendes may have laid low throughout her pregnancy, great it’s clear the new mom was definitely keeping busy while keeping from sight. She designed a collection of bridesmaids dresses and accessories for her eponymous collection with New York & Company - check it out below.

As well as yes, while we love looking at pretty dresses, we’re probably thinking exactly what you’re thinking: Does designing for weddings mean she’s planning on walking straight down the aisle herself (and, ahem, dressing her maids in the looks à la Lauren Conrad)? It’s unclear, though right after Ryan Gosling and Mendes welcomed daughter Esmeralda in September, a friend of Mendes’s told PEOPLE that as the actress had said in the past she wasn’t planning to get married or have children, “with Ryan things are different … she’s very independent but she’s content with the girl partner. She finally found the person she really wants to be with. ” In this, though, she told Marie Claire that she’d prefer not answering queries about marriage and babies, explaining, “Those are such boring topics in order to me… I am not that girl. I don’t like talking about things that I want later on because I feel by verbalizing such things, they won’t come true. ”

But even though wedding bells don’t appear to be ringing yet, Mendes has a definite appreciation for the bride’s big day. “An essential day needs a special dress, ” said Mendes in a press release for the selection. “I love this collection for weddings and other special events. Feel great as well as dance the night away! ”

The line includes eight different dress styles, with a few structured A-line cuts (center), some lengthier draped jersey maxis and delicate chiffon gowns. They’ll all be available online and in shops in the last week of January 2015. The dresses range from $79 to $119 (a steal for bridesmaids looks! ) and accessories (like jeweled tresses pieces, statement necklaces and faux-flower corsages) will run you $22 in order to $42 for accessories.

Tell us: Would you consider shopping the line for your wedding? Discuss your thoughts below.
