Influenced by the movie “Black Swan, ” Walter Mendez’s gowns evolved from innocent white-colored to Goth drama with black dresses trimmed in green feathers which fanned out from the shoulders and neck. Silhouettes were repetitive and styling had been extreme (a short, brown feather coat over a leotard, extra cutouts), however one could see the youth appeal in a strapless dress with a snake-printed bodice along with a long-sleeve, silver column dress enhanced by an exaggerated keyhole cutout within the chest.
