To start, Arlt applied an even layer of MACINTOSH Matchmaster Foundation ($35; maccosmetics. com), then followed by sweeping on the Studiofix Powder snow ($27; maccosmetics. com) to set the effect. A touch of powder blush in Devil ($17; maccosmetics. com), a rich terracotta hue, was blended onto the fiber-rich baby food of the star’s cheeks to impart a rosy flush. Moving on to the sight, Arlt used MAC’s Amber Lights eye shadow all over as a base shade, then applied the All That Glitters hue ($16 each; maccosmetics. com) in the heart of Gurira’s lids. He added extra dimension by blending the eggplant-toned of an in Sketch ($16; maccosmetics. com) into her crease.

After defining Gurira’s upper lash line with a sweep of MAC Blacktrack Fluidline ($16; maccosmetics. com), he applied the #3 falsies ($17; maccosmetics. com), adding another layer of the Fluidline over the top to hide the seam of the fake lashes. Arlt ran MAC’s Eye Pencil in Feline ($16; maccosmetics. com) along her waterline and blended the chocolate brown shadow in Begin ($16; maccosmetics. com) under her lower lashes to impart a refined smoky effect. The glossy lip served as the finishing touch. Arlt completed Gurira’s pout with the lip pencil in Currant ($16; maccosmetics. com), and also mixed the Lipglass shades in Desire and Rebel ($15; maccosmetics. com), which gave off a slight berry-tinted sheen.
