Rachael Finch breaks traditional Derby Day dress code by donning stunning dress with purple lining

For a long time the traditional dress code of Derby Day has been black and white.
But it seems previous Miss Universe Australia titleholder Rachael Finch has broken that cardinal guideline.
The 26-year-old donned a flowing Aurelio Costarella Dauphin Dress with a sprinkle of purple in the lining for the annual event at Flemington Racecourse within Melbourne on Saturday.

Rule breaker: Rachael Finch stepped out in a flowing frock at Derby Day in Melbourne on Saturday, breaking the tradition of the black and white dress code by adding a splash of purple to her dress

Rachael mostly stuck to the colour theme in her dark frock which featured a plunging neckline and sheer white panel.
The girl accessorised with a pair of strappy Stuart Weitzman heels, an Izoa Izoa clutch system and a thick, dark belt around her waist.
While socialising in the Emirates marquee the beauty sported a feathered headpiece by milliner Jill Humphries.
Whilst her outfit was on point, the beauty Queen made the cheeky option to wear a splash of purple.
The royal colour could be seen in the liner of her frock.
