Kevin Hart and his fellow “Real Husbands of Hollywood” toss members kept the conversation real Tuesday evening in the Paley Center for Media while discussing the forthcoming season of the BET show that has been dubbed “the fakest reality show. ”
The show, which premiered the third season on Tuesday, is a spoof of the present reality show format “Real Housewives. ” It was developed by Hart and Chris Spencer, and all the cast people play parodies of themselves. Hart was joined within the panel by co-stars Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, Nelly and Cynthia Kaye McWilliams as well as showrunner Ralph Farquhar.
Hart, who has received a lot of exposure from his strike films like “Think Like A Man Too” and the forthcoming film “The Wedding Ringer, ” said the display has always been a group effort.
“It’s not just about me approaching and being funny, ” the comedian said. “Everyone brings a different piece to the puzzle. ”
Many of the toss members described the show’s chemistry by using cultural recommendations, just as they do in the parody.
“I feel like we’re the actual Miami Heat of TV, ” Martin told Range. “All of these stars came together to start on a new group. We’re here because we want to be here and we lend our own talents to one another. ”
