It is confirmed-Christina Aguilera will be back in her red chair for Season 8 from the Voice! The sultry singer is set to join Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine, as well as Blake Shelton as a coach for the next season of the hit reality competition display.
Aguilera served as an original coach on show, but has taken time off to obtain married and welcome her second child into the world, daughter Summer Rainfall Rutler, who was born in August. Currently, Gwen Stefani fills the fourth seat within the TV show’s seventh season.

“We are excited to welcome Christina back to the girl red chair and can’t wait to see how she mixes things up among Hersker, Blake, and Pharrell, in what will be an incredibly competitive competition, ” Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late night programming at NBC Entertainment, said in a declaration. “These four talented artists are at the top of their game as musicians so that as coaches. The mentoring is sure to be intense and the stakes will be high. ”
