Mexican Day of the Dead :

MAC make-up designer Cher Webb demonstrates how to channel Mexican Day of The Dead make-up for that ultimate Halloween look. Watch it here.
Or follow the nine part cosmetics moodboard, with all products by MAC: white out your face, blacken your sight, create rose-coloured petals, black out the skull nose, elongate your mouth and add sewing. Create a scar, with stitching down your face, and dab glitter on just one single half of your face. "This is our Day of the Dead Halloween inspired cosmetics with an edge; you've got your beauty side and then your Bride of Frankenstein one the other side of the coin. Have fun with it, " says Webb.

To begin, use Illamasqua's Skin Base basis in Shade 01 all over the face. This is brilliant because it gives a full whitened coverage without the thickness or heaviness of classic face paints.
Next, contours and sculpt the face using a selection of Powder Eye Shadows. To get this mermaid look, we blended Fledgling, Burst and Imagine in this look.
Create the particular illusion of glistening scales using Liquid Metal in Surge. Smooth on the skin and use alone for a metallic sheen or topped with Natural Pigment in Beguile for extra sparkle.
Finish your smoky eye with a couple of coloured contact lenses to completely transform your look.
Happy Halloween!
