Last night marked an important date in pop culture history: it was the 20th house warming of the premiere of Friends. And who better to celebrate and commemorate that will day than one of the very friends on Friends, Courteney Cox? The presenter appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live-just a few short weeks after she participated inside the mini Friends reunion with Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow on that all show-and she discussed the momentous day.

Cox, who looked classically fashionable in a long-sleeved LBD, told host Jimmy Kimmel that during the first year that will Friends was on the air, the entire cast would watch together and that she'd host. (Come on, of course Monica Geller herself would be the hostess! )

Nevertheless the most important tidbit of their chat was when they discussed why viewers always wanted the valuable “Rachel” cut, but no one ever asked for the “Monica. ” “You realize, it kind of bums me out, ” she said. “Why didn’t they will? I mean we had the same hairdresser, I don’t understand! ” (We blame Phoebe and also her infamous Dudley Moore/Demi Moore haircut mishap with Monica. ) Works out Cox had a very simple solution for her locks not being as famous as the woman pal Aniston’s: “I just kept changing mine! ”

Watch the full clip-in which Kimmel also breaks down the essential four claps in the Friends theme song-here:
